I’ve tried the iw driver from tuxx.
I’m sure he’ll be along soon enough to mention it a few times, but the LoseThos guy wrote an operating system form scratch too! It won’t work yet as a “real” wireless card.

But the point is that at that time RaLink provider drivers with source inrel their cards. Different driver system fron BSD and or linux, cant use either, cant use windows drivers, cant use ndiswrapper. From what I can tell, the driver should be fairly straight forward. To be fair, he wrote a small, simple OS from scratch and a lot of people helped extend it into something useful. Are you new to LinuxQuestions.
I have an old G4 tower and an iMac that this will help out. I ended up buying a Mac, but it’d be great if they could get it off the ground.
In the past there have been one or two PCI cards known to work in PowerMacs which are the same chipset as Apple used for their internal wireless cards branded “Airport” and which were mistakenly recognised as Airport cards ma the OS X with only a minor hack editing a text file.
